Na parceli od 3600 četvornih metara, na mjestu gdje je 1970. godine bio izgrađen tadašnji hotel, u Preku uskoro počinje izgradnja novog i modernog hotela sa četiri zvjezdice koji će biti dio svjetski poznatog lanca hotela Hilton.
Investitor je tvrtka Preko d.o.o., u vlasništvu grupacije HOK osiguranja, koja već ima remontno brodogradilište “Nauta Lamjana” kao i “Marinu Preko” koja se nalazi u samom centru Preka. Njezin je direktor poduzetnik Željko Dilber, ujedno i savjetnik uprave HOK osiguranja, inače bivši saborski zastupnik HDZ-a i kum generala Ante Gotovine.
Investicija je vrijedna 12 milijuna eura, a novi objekt bit će izgrađen na mjestu nekadašnjeg hotela Preko. U vihoru ratne privatizacije, stari je hotel prestao s radom, a potom prodan jednom engleskom fondu koji ga je srušio najavljujući novi početak. To se, međutim, nikad nije dogodilo pa je do danas ta parcela služila za parkiranje.
- Projekt za izgradnju objekta je odobren, građevinska dozvola je dobivena te se uskoro očekuje početak radova. Isto tako, kroz ovaj mjesec trebali bi biti poznati konačni rezultati javnog poziva za poduzetništvo u turizmu koji je raspisalo Ministarstvo turizma na koji smo prijavili ovaj projekt- kazao nam je Dilber.
Kako doznajemo, hotel će imati 65 dizajnerski opremljenih soba, bazen, restoran, kao i sve ostale popratne sadržaje. I on će biti dio Hiltonove franšize kao i tri ostala brandirana hotela koje HOK osiguranje vodi preko tvrtke “Zagreb City Hotels”.
- Hotel će biti smješten u samom centru Preka koje, kao općinsko i administrativno središte na otoku Ugljanu, zaslužuje ovakav projekt. O tome koliko nam je hotel važan za samu destinaciju nije potrebno previše govoriti, u konačnici, u Preko nam dolazi Hilton i to u centar mjesta. Nakon toliko godina, općina Preko napokon će dobiti hotel koji će privući nove goste, produžiti turističku sezonu i razinu turističke ponude podignuti na jedan novi nivo- kaže načelnik Jure Brižić.
Otvorenje hotela u Preku planirano je za 2025. godinu.

Na parceli od 3600 četvornih metara, na mjestu gdje je 1970. godine bio izgrađen tadašnji hotel, u Preku uskoro počinje izgradnja novog i modernog hotela sa četiri zvjezdice koji će biti dio svjetski poznatog lanca hotela Hilton.
Investitor je tvrtka Preko d.o.o., u vlasništvu grupacije HOK osiguranja, koja već ima remontno brodogradilište “Nauta Lamjana” kao i “Marinu Preko” koja se nalazi u samom centru Preka. Njezin je direktor poduzetnik Željko Dilber, ujedno i savjetnik uprave HOK osiguranja, inače bivši saborski zastupnik HDZ-a i kum generala Ante Gotovine.
Investicija je vrijedna 12 milijuna eura, a novi objekt bit će izgrađen na mjestu nekadašnjeg hotela Preko. U vihoru ratne privatizacije, stari je hotel prestao s radom, a potom prodan jednom engleskom fondu koji ga je srušio najavljujući novi početak. To se, međutim, nikad nije dogodilo pa je do danas ta parcela služila za parkiranje.
- Projekt za izgradnju objekta je odobren, građevinska dozvola je dobivena te se uskoro očekuje početak radova. Isto tako, kroz ovaj mjesec trebali bi biti poznati konačni rezultati javnog poziva za poduzetništvo u turizmu koji je raspisalo Ministarstvo turizma na koji smo prijavili ovaj projekt- kazao nam je Dilber.
Kako doznajemo, hotel će imati 65 dizajnerski opremljenih soba, bazen, restoran, kao i sve ostale popratne sadržaje. I on će biti dio Hiltonove franšize kao i tri ostala brandirana hotela koje HOK osiguranje vodi preko tvrtke “Zagreb City Hotels”.
- Hotel će biti smješten u samom centru Preka koje, kao općinsko i administrativno središte na otoku Ugljanu, zaslužuje ovakav projekt. O tome koliko nam je hotel važan za samu destinaciju nije potrebno previše govoriti, u konačnici, u Preko nam dolazi Hilton i to u centar mjesta. Nakon toliko godina, općina Preko napokon će dobiti hotel koji će privući nove goste, produžiti turističku sezonu i razinu turističke ponude podignuti na jedan novi nivo- kaže načelnik Jure Brižić.
Otvorenje hotela u Preku planirano je za 2025. godinu.
